J.P. ASSOCIATES’ ARTICLE WRITING COMPETITION: COMING WITH ITS SECOND EDITION

J.P. Associates is back with the 2nd Edition of its Article Writing Competition, providing law students with an exciting opportunity to showcase their legal research and writing skills. This time, we are welcoming articles from both Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and Indirect Taxation, expanding the scope of participation.

Article Writing Competition Details

  • Eligible Participants: Open to law students pursuing 3-Year and 5-Year LLB courses, as well as LLM candidates. It is mandatory for all participants to follow J.P. Associates on LinkedIn.
  • Topics: Articles must be related to Intellectual Property Rights or Indirect Taxation.
  • Submission Guidelines:
    • Articles must be original and unpublished.
    • Format: Microsoft Word or Google Docs.
    • Citation Style: Bluebook.
    • Word Limit: 1,200-1,500 words.
    • Font: Times New Roman, Size 12, Line Spacing 1.5.
    • Participants must submit a plagiarism report (Max Plagiarism: 15%) and an AI report along with their article.
    • Submission must include the Participant’s Name, Email, Contact Number, and College Name.
  • Deadline20th April 2025 (No extensions will be granted).

Judging Criteria of the Article Writing Competition

Articles will be evaluated based on the following:

  • Creativity & Originality – 30 points
  • Content & Relevance to the Topic – 30 points
  • Clarity & Writing Style – 20 points
  • Technical Understanding – 20 points

  • Winner: Rs. 1,500/- + Article Publication on J.P. Associates + Certificate + 1-Month Internship at J.P. Associates.
  • 1st Runner-Up: Rs. 1,000/- + Article Publication on J.P. Associates’ Website + Certificate + Internship Opportunity.
  • 2nd Runner-Up: Rs. 500/- + Article Publication on J.P. Associates’ Website + Certificate.
